What to do if there are no legal documents for the privatization object?

Obtain such documents by submitting a written application to the appropriate authority that issued the document (State Land Cadastre, registrar, notary, BTI, CNAП, local self-government body). If the documents cannot be obtained, the issue can be resolved through the court by filing a petition to recognize ownership rights to the property, establish a legal fact, or remove obstacles to exercising ownership rights. According to Article 392 of the Civil Code of Ukraine, the property owner can file a lawsuit to recognize their ownership rights if these rights are contested by another person or if the document confirming ownership has been lost.
